About Colonel Degree College

Colonel Degree College for Women, was eastablish under Punjabi University,Patiala. The main aim of society is to establish and run educational institutions including Arts, technical and professional. The area of operation of society is ’’ALL INDIA. Towards attainment of its aims the society has established the educational at Chural Kalan,Sangrur.

Colonel Degree College for Women is now named as Colonel Degree College(Co-Ed.) is located at Chural Kalan,Tehsil-Lehragaga, Distt. Sangrur (Punjab) and was established in the year 2009-10 and is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala Colonel Degree College is a College with a difference totally engaged in pursuit of excellence.

Pace-Setting Role
Pursuit of excellence would have to inform all activities of the Colonel College of Educations, in which context it will have two inter-related aspects :

• Excellence in the Institute own work, and
• Helping the elementary and adult educations systems in the district, in achieving excellence.
  
  

In this context, It is a started with girls College located on main highway Jakhal to Budhlada. It is well linked by train and roads to all the important towns and cities. College provides transport facility for students. Now its named as Colonel Degree College(Co-Ed.) will have a very important pace-setting role to play. They will be expected to become models for other educational institutions in the district in terms of meticulous, efficient and effective planning and execution of functions, harmonious and creative organizational climate, maintenance of a clean ,with transport facilities and attractive campus, etc.
